What makes Omnilux so different? The Omnilux treatment head, contains only single wavelength LEDs, each one designed to deliver an intensity of light that’s optimal and delivers results. But, the two major differences are the intensity of each individual LED and that the LEDs are actually packed closely together, as opposed to being spaced out, which means you receive maximum light and a sufficient dosage to treat your skin. How does it work?

Omnilux targets fibroblasts in your skin’s dermis – the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin. By tightening collagen fibres, it results in a more even and smooth complexion. Omnilux uses three different wavelengths to target various skin concerns; blue light, red light and white light.

Omnilux LED Revive (red) (633NM) stimulates elastin and collagen to strengthen your skin’s supportive structure. With higher blood flow, your skin detoxifies, becomes clearer and has fewer fine lines and wrinkles. This anti-inflammatory LED therapy also enhances the effectiveness of your skin products and our other skin treatments. Focuses on anti-aging and skin rejuvenation. Skin appears clearer with less fine lines, is plumped up and hydrated.

Omnilux LED Plus (white) (830NM) heals and tightens the skin to turn back the clock for a more youthful appearance. By stimulating your deep skin tissue, your skin becomes smoother with less fine lines and wrinkles.

Omnilux LED Blue that targets acne by neutralising the bacteria that causes acne from mild to severe cases. One of the key bacteria responsible for the inflammation Propionibacterium acnes or P.acnes, produces natural chemicals called porphyrins, which are sensitive to light at different wavelengths. When stimulated, these chemicals will neutralise the bacteria. With no bacteria present inflammation will subside. Furthermore, the action of light on the sebaceous glands produces an environment that is inhibitory to the growth of P. acnes. It also clears away any redness and scarring. When stimulated by the wavelength, skin inflammation reduces. When Omnilux Blue is used in conjunction with Omnilux Red, you’ll see a marked reduction in acne skin lesions.

What results can I expect?

How many treatments will I need?

Omnilux LED treatments achieve optimum long lasting results with a course of 7 to 8 treatments over a 3 to 4 week period followed up with monthly maintenance treatments.  When treating most skin conditions the course of treatments will include a combination of Omnilux Revive ™, Omnilux Blue ™ and/or Omnilux Plus ™.  Results will not be seen until 4 to 8 weeks after treatment, because the natural process of healing and rejuvenation stimulated by the light therapy continues to work for a length of time following the treatments.
